Coaching, training, mentoring and development are all about helping staff learn, whether it is new knowledge and skills or an opportunity to adapt existing skills to meet the pace of change in the healthcare industry.

We accommodate all types of training courses, and we use all sorts of technology to enhance these development opportunities. Many of our courses and seminars are multiprofessional, in line with modern health care team principles.

Major national and international conferences frequently use our Education Centre; organisers and sponsors being drawn by our outstanding facilities and the attractive surroundings of the nearby Cathedral City of Salisbury.

We can offer a range of learning and development opportunities for your staff from a comprehensive on-line induction programme to ensure new staff have the knowledge and skills needed to make their working environment a safe and enjoyable place to be, right through to clinical skills and management development.

Our staff at Salisbury District Hospital have long been well regarded for the quality of care and treatment they provide for our patients and for their innovation, commitment and professionalism. This has been recognised in a wide range of achievements and it is reflected in our award of ¾¨Ó㴫ý Foundation Trust status. This is afforded to hospitals that provide the highest standards of care.
