Answer To Question 1: The Trust do not have a dedicated specific amount of funding for liaison support for traumatic births. Services that we offer are the Birth Reflections Service which is part of the Family Experience Midwife's role and offers the opportunity for patients to come and discuss their birth should they wish to. We also offer the OCEAN Service for users who have experienced a traumatic birth - this was set up in 2023 and forms part of the Psychological Wellbeing Midwife's role. The OCEAN service covers Trauma, loss and fear. We do not provide this service for miscarriages. | |
